About us

Jaga inc was founded by James Alexander, a professional engineer and former Executive Vice President of Operations at Engineering Seismology Group, a world leader in industrial microseismic monitoring. As one of three principals at ESG, he was responsible for overseeing wireline acquisition, engineering, software, manufacturing and information technology related to monitoring man-induced seismic activity for geotechnical, petroleum and mining applications. Mr. Alexander joined ESG from Nanometrics Inc. of Kanata, where he directed design, development and implementation of technologies relating to seismic networks. A graduate of Queen’s University (BSc, Engineering Physics), he worked for many years in research and development with Queen’s Engineering Seismology Laboratory, the Department of Physics and the Applied Nuclear Physics Group.
